Pacers

SmartPacing will once again provide pacers for both races. The strategy they will implement on the course is easing into the first few miles to allow for an adequate warm up and will run all hills at an even effort to conserve energy. The pacers will also go slower through the aid stations.

Pacers will be available for the following times:

Half Marathon
1:35, 1:40, 1:45, 1:50, 1:55, 2:00, 2:05, 2:10, 2:15, 2:20, 2:25, 2:30, 2:45, 2:50, 2:55, 3:00

Marathon
3:15, 3:30, 3:40, 3:50, 4:00, 4:10, 4:20, 4:30, 4:40, 4:50, 5:00, 5:15, 5:30

MEET YOUR PACERS

Post Race Celebration

Following the race, there will be a post race celebration held at the Nebraska Champions Club. Lunch consisting of a pork sandwich, salads, chips, cookies and cake will be served at noon. The awards ceremony starts at 12:30 p.m. The post race celebration is free for race participants and their families.

More Awards

The Lewis R. Anderson Award is presented to the first person to finish the Lincoln National Guard Marathon. This award is given in honor of the first Nebraskan to be a member of a U.S. Olympic Track and Field team.

The Lincoln Track Club Marathon Cup is presented to the first woman to finish the Lincoln National Guard Marathon.

Plaques are presented to the next nine men and women in the marathon and the first ten men and women in the half-marathon.

Age Division Awards

Plaques are awarded to the first five men and women in each division based upon Net Time. Age divisions: 14 & under, 15-19 (half-marathon) or 19 & under (marathon) and five-year increments thereafter (i.e. 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, etc). Top 10 overall male and female winners are excluded from age-group awards.
